Thailand's Peerakiat Siriluethaiwattana stormed into the men's singles second round after posting a 6-2, 6-3 victory over India's Navdeep Singh(ATP-845) in the $US10,000 Men's Future Tennis tournament at RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in Chandigarh, India earlier today.
The Thai 18-year-old from Kampaengpetch, who came from the qualifying round, will next challenge world No.328 and top seed Rohan Bopanna of India, for a place to the quarterfinals.
Peerakiat, who finished his career-best at No.42 in world junior, was selected to join the Davis Cup team for the first time which will play against Australia in Asia/Oceania Zone Group I Qualifying Second Round at Townsville in Australia next week.....

Noppawan sets up Khunpak clash in GB1 Indore

Last year finalist Noppawan Lertcheewakarn of Thailand moved through to the quarterfinals of the Asian Closed Junior Tennis Championships, an ITF junior Grade B1, to set up an all-Thai quarter clash with Khunpak Issara at Indore Tennis Club in India earlier today.
Top-seeded world No. 4, Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, who has become the highest-ever Thai player to be ranked on the ITF World Junior Circuit after winning successive Grade 1 events in Manila and Sarawak, cruised past Indian girl Tanvi Shah(ITF-172) 6-4, 6-0 while No.12 seed Khunpak Issara(ITF-140) upset Indonesian sixth-seeded Beatrice Gumulya(ITF-70) 7-5, 6-4. Two other Thais followed Noppawan into the quarterfinal round. Seventh-seeded Kanyapat Narattana(ITF-76) ousted Indian No.11 seed Rashmi Teltumbde(ITF-124) 7-6(2), 6-0 and set up a quarterfinal match against Japan's No.14 seed Miyabi Inoue(ITF-160). Tenth-seeded Sophia Mulsap(ITF-119) rallied from a set down to defeat Indian No.5 seed Poojashree Venkatesh(ITF-58) 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. Nicha Lertpitaksinchai(ITF-112) did not survive the quarterfinal round, losing a 6-1, 6-3 to eighth-seeded Aleksandra Kolesnichenko of Uzbekistan.
In the boy's singles, Thai second seed world No.25 Kittipong Wachiramanowong reached the last eight after cruising past Hong Kong's No.14 seed Dino Dell'orto(ITF-178) 6-2, 6-2 while third-seeded world No.31 Peerakit Siributwong beat Indian No.16 seed Ronak Manuja(ITF-189) in straight sets 6-1, 6-1......

Thai top seed Kittipong Wachiramanowong and third-seeded Peerakit Siributwong fought their way into the boys singles semifinals, defeating their rivals on day four of the Asian Closed Junior Tennis Championships, an ITF junior Grade B1 at Indore Tennis Club in India earlier today.
Top-seeded world No.25, Kittiphong Wachiramanowong breezed past Indian eighth-seeded Sudanwa Sitaram(ITF-115), 6-1, 6-2 , to advance against Japanese No. 4 seed Hiroki Moriya(ITF-41), who prevailed over Indian tenth-seeded Akash Wagh(ITF-125) , 6-3, 6-2. Third-seeded Peerakit Siributwong(ITF-31) downed Indian ninth-seeded Karunuday Singh(ITF-116) , 6-3, 6-0, to advance in the last four against Indian top seed Yuki Bhambri(ITF-12), a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Chinese seventh-seeded Zhang Ze(ITF-110).
In the girl's competitions, Last year finalist and top seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn(ITF-4), rallied past compatriot Khunpak Issara(ITF-) 6-2, 6-1, to set up an all-Thai semifinal clash with tenth-seeded Sophia Mulsap(ITF-119), a 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 winner over fourth-seeded Aki Yamasoto of Japan. Seventh-seeded Kanyapat Narattana(ITF-76) failed to make her semifinal debut on Grade B1 event after going down 6-3, 6-3 to Japanese No.14 seed Miyabi Inoue(ITF-160).....

Thai third-seeded Peerakit Siributwong and top seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn maintained their good form to reach singles finals of the Asian Closed Junior Tennis Championships, an ITF junior Grade B1 at Indore Tennis Club in India earlier today.
Peerakit, 17-year-old world No.31, made his final debut on Grade B1 event as he upset Indian top seed Yuki Bhambri(ITF-12) in straight sets 7-5, 7-5, to set up a final showdown with fourth-seeded Hiroki Moriya of Japan who recorded a 6-3, 7-6(3) winner over second seed Kittiphong Wachiramanowong.
In the girl's side, top seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn continued her impressive form, reaching third consecutive final in three week. Fresh from winning her previous Grade 1 events in Manila and Sarawak, the Thai world No.4 keep her winning streak going to 15-0 as she moved past compatriot tenth-seeded Sophia Mulsap(ITF-119) in three-set battle 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, to set up a final clash with Hong Kong third-seeded Zi-Jun Yang(ITF-36), a 6-4, 6-4 victory over No.14 seed Miyabi Inoue of Japan. The Chiangmai 16-year-old, who has become the highest-ever Thai player to be ranked on the ITF World Junior Circuit, is eyeing her second successive Grade B1 title, after bagging last year's Asian Closed Junior Championships in New Delhi .......

Thailand's top ranked junior Peerakit Siributwong and
Noppawan Lertcheewakarn captured ITF junior Grade B1 title after defeating their rivals in singles final of the Asian Closed Junior Tennis Championships, an ITF junior Grade B1 at Indore Tennis Club in India earlier today.
Third-seeded Peerakit Siributwong, 17-year-old from Ratchaburi, won his maiden ITF Junior Grade B1 after defeating fourth-seeded Hiroki Moriya of Japan in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
Top seed Noppawan, 16-year-old world No.4 from Chiangmai extended her winning streak going to 16-0 as she beat Zi-Jun Yang in straight sets 6-2, 6-0, improved to 4-1 lifetime against the Hong Kong teenager. It was Noppawan's third consecutive ITF Junior titles after capturing Grade 1 events in Manila and Sarawak last month. She became the first Thai women after Montinee Tangphong(career-high at No.20th in 19 May 2003), to reach a career-high at No.4 on the ITF World Junior rankings........

Danai stuns Istomin to reach QFs at Cremona

Thailand's Danai Udomchoke stormed to the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over world No.152 and No.9 seeds Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan in the second round of the $US35,000 Torneo Challenger Series in Cremona, Italy earlier today.
The Thai 26-year-old world No.191 will take on wildcard entrant Adrian Menendez of Spain who recorded a 6-3, 6-3 upset win over seventh-seeded Kristian Pless(ATP-135).
In doubles, Thailand's top seed Sonchat Ratiwatana and Sanchai Ratiwatana(ATP-42) moved to the quarterfinal round after defeating Italy's pair of Lorenzi and Stoppini in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.....

Thailand's 21-year-old Nudnida Luangnam got off to strong starts to secure her place into the second round of the $US25,000 Gimcheon Women's Challenger Tennis tournament at Gimcheon Total Sports Town Tennis Courts in Korea earlier today.
Currently world No.346th, Nudnida, Thailand's No.2 player after Tamarine Tanasugarn(WTA-86) advanced to the second round after defeating Chinese rising star Yi-Miao Zhou(WTA-302) in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. Montinee Tangphong(WTA-386), the other Thai hope in the 32-singles main draw, did not join Nudnida's success. The Thai 23-year-old from Samutsakorn went down 6-3, 7-5 to 19-year-old Erika Sema of Japan.
In qualifying final round, two Thais earned their spot in the main draw after winning final qualifying matches earlier today. Suchanan Viratprasert(WTA-564) rallied past Sun-Jung Kim of Korea 6-1, 7-5 while Varatchaya Wongteanchai(WTA-583) came from a set down to defeat Korea's Jeong-A in three sets 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.....

Thai qualifier Suchanan Viratprasert(WTA-564) easily saw off 490th-ranked Jin-Hee Kim of Korea to progress to the second round of the $US25,000 Gimcheon Women's Challenger Tennis tournament at Gimcheon Total Sports Town Tennis Courts in Korea earlier today.
The Thai 25-year-old, who reached her career best at No.172 in August 2004, defeated Korean qualifier Jin-Hee Kim in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. She will face Chinese teenager Jing-Jing Lu, a 6-2, 7-5 winner over fourth-seeded Natsumi Hamamura of Japan, for a place to the quarterfinals. The other Thai qualifier Varatchaya Wongteanchai(WTA-583) did not get past the first round, losing to fifth-seeded Chin-Wei Chan of Taiwan in three-set battle 4-6, 6-3, 6-2......
