Second straight 25K title for Nudnida at Balikpapan
BALIKPAPAN Indonesia, August 08, 2010 Fourth-seeded Nudnida Luangnam of Thailand continued her impressive run form to secure her second career $US25,000 ITF Women's Circuit title as she defeat An-Sophie Mestach of Belgium to win Bankaltim International Tennis 2010 in Balikpapan, Indonesia earlier today.
The Thai 23-year-old, Nudnida(WTA-334), had to work hard to overcome the Belgian 16-year-old world number 639 in three set battle 6-0, 3-6, 6-2.

Nudnida wins maiden 25K title at home
NONTHABURI Thailand, July 24, 2010 Thailand's Nudnida Luangnam saved two matchpoints before defeating Japanese third-seeded Tomoko Yonemura to win her first home title at $US25,000 Chang SAT-ITF Thailand Pro-Circuit in Nonthaburi, Thailand earlier today.
Yonemura, world No.226, began in style, breaking Nudnida two game, to win the first set 6-2. In the second, the Japanese third-seeded continued her impressive form, leading 5 - 3 and serving for the match. But the Thai 23-year-old put up a valiant fight by saving two matchpoints and took the contest into the decider. Nudnida clinched the endurance test, which lasted two hours and 40 minutes in three set battle 2-6, 7-5, 6-1.
It was Nudnida's first $US25,000 title after winning four ITF($US10,000) trophies under her belt.

Nicha, Varatchaya set up an all-Thai semi
BANGKOK, Thailand, July 01, 2010 Nicha Lertpitaksinchai and Varatchaya Wongteanchai got off to strong starts to ensure a smooth passage into the semifinal round of the US$10,000 ITF Women tennis tournament at the Rama Garden Hotel Tennis Center in Bangkok, Thailand eralier today.
Thai tennis rising star Nicha Lertpitaksinchai(WTA-636) created a flutter when she shocked world No.405 and top seed Kun-Hee Kim of South Korea in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. The Thai teenager sets up an all-Thai semifinal against third-seed Varatchaya Wongteanchai(WTA-413), who advanced when her opponent from South Korea, Seo-Kyung Kang, retired down 0-6, 0-2 due to an injury.
Fourth-seed Nudnida Luangnam also joined Varatchaya and Nicha into the semifinal after she defeated seventh-seed Min-Hwa Yu of South Korea 6-3, 6-3. Tammy rallies back to defeat Mirza
BIRMINGHAM England, June 10, 2010 Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn survived a real scare against Indian No.1 player Sania Mirza to edge into the third round with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 win at AEGON Classic in Birmingham.
Tamarine, the 2000 Birmingham finalist, fought back from a set down to defeat the Indian world No.94 in three set battle in the second round. The 2008 Wimbledon quarterfinalist swung the match around on its head after Sania Mirza failed to serve out the match at 5-4 and 30-0 in the second set. It was a sweet revenge for Tamarine as she had lost to Mirza in the quarterfinal in Pattaya City in 2009. It was the fourth meeting between the pair with their head-to-head record at 2-2.

Noppawan edges past Spears in Nottingham
NOTTINGHAM England, June 03, 2010 Thailand rising stars Noppawan Lertcheewakarn (WTA-329) stormed into the quarterfinal round of the US$50,000 Aegon Trophy after posting a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Abigail Spears of USA on Thursday at the Nottingham Tennis Centre grasscourt.

NOTTINGHAM England, June 02, 2010 Thai tennis star Noppawan Lertcheewakarn (WTA-329) pulled off the upset on day three of the US$50,000 Aegon Trophy when she knocked out fifth-seeded Olga Savchuk of Ukraine in the first round on Wednesday.
Noppawan, who accepted a wild card entry into the tournament courtesy of the Junior Exempt programme, took the Ukrainian world No139 Olga Savchuk out of the competition with a three-set battle 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 win at the Nottingham Tennis Centre. Tammy reaches Indian Wells second round
INDIAN WELLS, USA, March 11, 2010 Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn progressed to the second round of the US$4,500,000 BNP Paribas Open with a straight-set victory over Romania's Edina Gallovits at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Wednesday.
Tamarine, who got in the main draw as a lucky loser courtesy of a main-draw withdrawal, beat Edina Gallovits of Romania 6-2, 6-3. After 65 minutes of play, the Thai 32-year-old converted six of 9 break point opportunities while Gallovits capitalised on just two of six.
