The no. 2 seed Pichittra Thongdach of Thailand advanced into
the second round, defeating Andrea Lipovskah of Australia
at the ITF Grade `II' junior tennis tournament at the Pusat
Tenis Kemayoran on Tuesday. The talented girl from Nakonsrithammarach,
Pichittra
Thongdach rallied from a set down to win the match 3-6 6-1
7-5. Earlier yesterday Nungnadda Wannasuk also won over Nina
Septrita of Indonesia 6-2 6-1. Ratchaya and Porntip were eliminated
by the No. 1 and No. 3 seed in straight sets.
In Boys single, the Thai No. 1 seed Weerapat Doakmaiklee beated
Ryan Biancardi of Australia in straight sets 6-4 6-2. Lopburi

round at the $10K Hamilton Future Circuit earlier today. Sonchat
fell to the No. 8 seed Philip Gubenco of Canada 6-2,6-2 while
his brother Sanchai lost in straight sets 6-3,6-4 to the No.
7 seed Michihisa Onoda of Japan.
In double, the Thai twins brother is top seeded and will take
on IM Kyu Tae/ LEE Seung Hoon of Korea in the first round

Paradorn Srichaphan became the sixth seed to be eliminated
by Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic in second round at the $1 million
Dubai Open earlier today. The No. 7 seed fought back from
a set down and was trailling 3-4, 15-40 on Ljubicic's service
game to win the second set. But despite fighting back with
four straight games, the Thai No. 1 who was playing injury
his ankle fell to hold his service on the eleventh games in

Thai No. 1 Paradorn Srichaphan advances into second round of
the $1 million Dubai Open after Dominik Hrbaty of Slovakia quit
suffering from sickness. The No. 7 seed broke Hrbaty service
in the first game and takes 4-3 lead when the Slovak who has
won three tournaments so far this year retired from the match.
Paradorn is the only seed left in the bottom half of the draw
will take on Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic in the second round.

wildcards Lauren Cheung in the first round of the $10K ITF
Challenger in Warrnambool. The 18-year old from Samutsakorn
rallied from a set down to defeat Lauren Cheung 2-6,6-4,6-3
earlier today. Montinee who has already won two $10K titles
before, first title in Jakarta 2003 and second in New Delhi
2004 will take on the No. 2 seed Casey Dellacqua of Australia
in second round.

in straight sets in the first round of the $10K ITF Challenger
in Warrnambool. The No. 4 seed who had solid grass results
in last year lost to a qualifier Christina Horiatopoulos of
Australia 6-4,6-4 on 2nd Tuesday. Earlier yesterday a lucky
losser Wilawan Choptang who replaced LlkeGers of New Zealand
also was eliminated by Da-Jung Hong of Korea 7-5,3-6,6-4.
In
double the No. 1 seed Napaporn Tongsalee/LIke Gers withdrew
from the main draw. Wilawan/Montinee
win over wildcard Emily Hewson/Nicole Kriz in straight sets,
