World No. 783 and 3rd seeded Pichittra Thongdach and 4th seeded Nudnida Luangnam of Thailand were knocked out from second round of $10K Holcim ITF Philippines Women's Circuit at
Ynares Socio-Cultural Sports Center, Manila, Philippines earlier today. The 17-year-old from Petchaburi who was playing her knee injury, was defeated by Ayu-Fani Damayanti of Indonesia in straight set 2-6, 3-6. Three other Thai girls, Nudnida, Varanya and Porntip also lost second round match to their opponents.....More

World No. 294 and 2nd seeded Napaporn Tongsalee of Thailand had to fight hard to reach second round of the $25K International Tennis Federation's Women Circuit event, defeating qualifier Sandhya Nagraj of India in straight set 6-4,7-6(4) in Mumbai, India on Tuesday. The second seed who join her compatriot Montinee, Thassha and Wilawan, will play qualifier India's Punam Reddy in second round.
