Unseeded Peerakiat Siriluethaiwatana of Thailand and Japan's Shuhei Uzawa continued their fine run, defeating third seed to reach double semifinals of
the 16th Mitsubishi-Lancer International Junior (Group 1) Championships at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center, Manila, Philippines on Friday. Peerakit - Uzawa outlasted third seed Matin Sayer and Xiao Peng Lai of Hong Kong 6-4,6-2 and meet Hsin Han Lee - Christopher Llewellyn (TPE/GBR) in semifinals.

Pattrayu Chumpetch and Noppawan Lertcheewakarn of Thailand continued their fine run to reach the Boy's and Girl's singles final of the ITF Asian under-14 tennis Zone 1 championship (Week 1) at the DLTA Complex on Sunday. Top seed Pattrayu plays second seed Tsung-Hua Yang of Chinese Taipei while unseed Noppawan sets up the final clash against top seed Albina Khabibulina of Uzbekistan.
Thai Junior rising star Nicha Lertpitaksinchai went down 2-6, 0-6 to top seed Albina Khabibulina of Uzbekistan in semifinals.
A six - member Thai team with three boys and three girls has been selected for the ITF under-14 tennis Zone 1 championship to be played at the DLTA Complex New Delhi, India from March 27 - 9 April. The other team will be Chinese Taipei, India, Philippines, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Japan. There will also be ITF team selected from the competitions in Zone 4, 3, and 2 participating in this event. There will be a three-day training camp followed by two tournaments. The ITF Asian under-14 team for Europe will be selected from the competition here.

Top seed Pattrayu Chumpetch of Thailand won the Boy's single title when he outlasted second seed Tsung-Hua Yang of Chinese Taipei in the final of the ITF Asian under-14 tennis Zone 1 championship (Week 1) at the DLTA Complex earlier today. The 14-year-old Thai talented boy fought back from a set down to defeat second seed Tsung-Hua Yang 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 in three and a half hours.
In Girl's single final, unseed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn went down 4-6, 1-6 to top seed Albina Khabibulina of Uzbekistan.
Later in the afternoon, second seed Nicha Lertpitaksinchai and Sajjaporn Mahajaroenkul beated top seed Albina Khabibulina and Alexandra Kolessnichenko of Uzbekistan in straight set 6-4, 6-3 to claim Girl's double title....... More

World single No. 362 and second seed Montinee Tangphong and World single No. 499 Thassha Vitayaviroj of Thailand survived a scare to reach the second round of the Rajesh Kumar Wadhawan Charitable Trust sponsored US$10,000 ITF Women's tennis tournament at the Practennis School court earlier today. Montinee had to work hard to fight back from a set down to beat a local favorite Sai Jayalakshmy-Jayaram of India 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 while Thassha need more than two hours to defeat India's Karishma Patel in three set battle 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
