World No. 194 and Thai Fed Cup team Suchanan Viratprasert made an early qualifying first round exit of the Australian Open Tennis Championship when she was defeated by third seeded Lilia Osterloh of USA in straight set 4-6, 4-6 in Melbourne Australia earlier today.

World No. 211 and Thai No. 2 Danai Udomchoke crashed out of qualifying first round of the Australian Open Tennis Championship when he was eliminated by Kristian Pless of Denmark in straight set 5-7, 6-7(5) in Melbourne Australia earlier today. | Ratchaya, Waratchaya reach semifinal in ITF Junior Grade 3 |
RAJSHAHI, Bangladesh January 13, 2005
World Junior No. 332 and 6th seeded Ratchaya Chaichanachaicharn booked her place into semifinal of Neway International Junior (Grade 3) Tennis Championships when she ousted top seeded Gangothri Sandri of India in three-set battle 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 at Zafar Iman Tennis Complex, Bangladesh earlier today. Last week's Junior Grade 4 runner up Waratchaya Wongteanchai joined Ratchaya into semifinal, defeating Shiho Otake of Japan 6-4, 6-0. Ratchaya sets up semifinals clash with Elena Tcherniakova of Russia while Waratchaya plays Elina Hasanova of Azerbaijan.
In girl's double finals, Ratchaya - Waratchaya lost to Tcherniakova - Hasanova(RUS/AZE) 6-3, 6-7(8), 5-7.

World Junior No. 597 Waratchaya Wongteanchai of Thailand failed to captured the ITF Junior Grade 3 title, losing 2-6, 4-6 to Elena Tcherniakova of Russia for the second time in two week in the final of Neway International Junior (Grade 3) Tennis Championships, Bangladesh yesterday.
Earlier on Friday semifinals, the 15-year-old talented girl from Chiang Rai outsed 3rd seeded Elina Hasanova of Azerbaijan 6-4, 6-1 and 6th seeded Ratchaya Chaichanachaicharn was defeated by Elena Tcherniakova of Russia 2-6, 0-6.
In Boys doubles final, Kittipong - Oyama(THA/JPN) lost to Ko - Lee(TPE/TPE) 3-6, 1-6.....More

World junior No. 139 and second seeded Kirati Siributwong of Thailand continued his fine run to advance into semifinal of the ITF Grade 3 Bangladesh International Junior Championships 2005, defeating Ayrton WIBOWO of Indonesia in straight set 6-4, 6-3 at National Tennis Complex, Dhaka, Bangladesh on Wednesday. The 17-year-old talented boy from Ratchburi now faces 7th seeded Tejesvi RAO of India in semifinal.
In Boys double final, Peerakit Siributwong, older bother of Kirati, and Kittipong Wachiramanowong of Thailand won double title with 6-1, 6-1 victory over top seed Gupta and Rao of India.

| Waratchaya captures first ITF Junior title |

World Junior No. 597 Waratchaya Wongteanchai of Thailand won her first ITF Junior title, defeating Elena Tcherniakova of Russia 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the final of Bangladesh International Junior (Grade 3) Tennis Championships in Dahka, Bangladesh earlier today.
It was the same old story, as Waratchaya Wongteanchai of Thailand and Elena Tcherniakova of Russia made their third successive final.
Unlike the last two finals in Dahka and Rajshahi, when the talented girl from Chiangrai, had allowed the quality of her game to dip against the Russia lass, the Thai girl played consistently well, smacking winners all over the court, with considerable determination to boot, in cruising home this time.
