Seven Thais ( two boys and five girls ) progressed to the quarter-finals after the third round matches were finished on day three in the Toyota Junior Open, an ITF junior grade 4, at the LTAT National Tennis Center in Nonthaburi, Pathumthani earlier today.
Second seeds Peerakit Siributwong(ITF-153) completed a commanding win over China's Jia Li(ITF-1336) 6-1, 6-2. His quarterfinal opponent is No.9 seeds David Agung Susanto(ITF-326) of Indonesia. Warut Korkiatthaworn, 15-year-old Bangkok native, caused the upset of the day, ousting Hong Kong's No.12 seed Dino Dell'Orto(ITF-504) in three sets 0-6, 6-2, 6-0. Warut next play the Aussie third-seeded Alex sanders(ITF-212) for a place to the semifinals.
In the girl's side, sixth-seeded world No.226 Natchanok Saenyaukhot fought back from a set down to defeat Indian No.11 seed Bhavani Tirumurti(ITF-573). She will next challenge Hong Kong's top seed Zi-Jun Yang(ITF-137) for a spot to the last four. Thai top ranked juniors ( two boys and one girl ) had suffered an early exits when the first round matches were finished after a two days rain delay in the Junior Wimbledon Championships at at All England Club, England on Wednesday.
The 15-year-old Noppawan Lertcheewakarn(ITF-50) bowed out after being thrashed 6-2, 6-2 by Russian tenth-seeded Ksenia Pervak(ITF-10) in the girl's singles first round.
In the boy's competitions, Peerakiat Siriluethaiwattana(ITF-53) squandered a 3-1 and 3-0 lead in the first and the second set before going down 7-6(0), 7-6(8) to world No.18 Radu Albot of Moldova in the first round clash while Kiitipong Wachiramanowong(ITF-47) went down to Aussie No.12 seeds John-Patrick Smith(ITF-9) in straight sets 6-2, 6-0........... Thai girls are guaranteed a place in the Toyota Open's final when Khunpak Issara(ITF-190) and Nicha Lertpitaksinchai(ITF-183) scoring notable victories to set up a mouth watering semifinal clash in the Toyota Junior Open, an ITF junior grade 4, at the LTAT National Tennis Center in Nonthaburi, Pathumthani earlier today.
Fifth-seeded Khunpak Issara upset second-seeded Jawairiah Noordin(ITF-146) of Malaysia in straight sets 7-6(1), 6-2 in the quarter-finals. The Bangkok teenager sets up the semifinal clash with fourth-seeded Nicha Lertpitaksinchai who recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win over No.10 seeds Ofri Lankri(ITF-563) of Israel. Third-seeded Kanyapat Narattana(ITF-182) joined Khunpak into the last four after scoring a 6-1, 6-3 victory over compatriot Satjaporn Mahajaroenkul(ITF-280). Peerakit Siributwong(ITF-153) and Khunpak Issara(ITF-190) are one step away from winning their junior title at home after they prevailed over their rivals in their semi-final matches in the Toyota Junior Open, an ITF junior grade 4, at the LTAT National Tennis Center in Nonthaburi, Pathumthani earlier today.
Second-seeded world No.153 Peerakit Siributwong easily saw off 212nd- ranked Alex Sanders of Australia, 6-3, 6-1, to set up the final clash with Japan's Ryoken Matsui (ITF-1152) who recorded a 5-7, 6-2, 7-6(5) win over Marious Zelba of Australia.
In the girl's side, the 16-year-old fifth-seeded Khunpak Issara overcame compatriot Nicha Lertpitaksinchai(ITF-183) in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to reach her first Junior G4 final. Thailand's second seed Peerakit Siributwong has a successful campaign to claim his ITF junior title after winning the final matches in the Toyota Junior Open, an ITF junior grade 4, at the LTAT National Tennis Center in Nonthaburi, Pathumthani earlier today.
Peerakit Siributwong, 16-year-old world junor No. 153 from Ratchaburi, lifted the boy's single trophy after defeating Japan's Ryoken Matsui(ITF-1152) in straight sets 7-6(7), 6-3 in one hour and 47 minutes final clash. It was Peerakit's second G4 title after winning the first one in Bangkok last year.
In the girl's single final, top seed Zi-Jun Yang, 17-year-old world junor No. 137 from Hong Kong, had no problem handling fifth-seeded Khunpak Issara, 16-year-old world junor No. 190 from Bangkok, in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 in the final contest that spanned only 64 minutes............ More

Wildcard entrant Chiangrai native Varatchaya Wongteanchai(WTA-854) had to fight hard from one set behind before prevailing countrywoman Varanya Vijuksanaboon(WTA-793) in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. Thai favorite Napaporn Tongsalee(WTA-360) has suffered an early first round exit after a three-set loss at the hand of Indonesian qualifier Jessy Rompies(WTA-831) in the US$10,000 SAT-PTT ITF Women's Circuit 1 at Srichaphan Tennis Academy in Khonkaen earlier today.
The 17-year-old qualifier Uthumporn Pudtra(ITF-256) rallied from a set deficit to defeat qualifier Yi Yang of China 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. The Pathumthani teenager will next challenge third-seeded Sanaa Bhambri(WTA-508) for a place to the quarter-finals.

Thailand number two Danai Udomchoke(ATP-104) was on top of his game as he beat British Alex Bogdanovic(ATP-110) in three sets battle 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 , to advance to the second round of the US$416,000 Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, USA on Tuesday.
After one hour and 26 minites of play, the Thai 25-year-old who fired 7 aces and did not drop a game in the final set, was pleased with the way he played on grass court campaign. He will play the second round against Germany's Mischa Zverev who recorded a 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 upset win over seventh-seeded Igor Kunitsyn of Russia in the other first round.

It was the longest match of the day when unseeded Sorachet Uayporn(ITF-823) upset last week G4 Toyota semifinalists and third-seeded Alex Sanders(ITF-217) of Australia 6-7(1), 7-6(4), 7-5 in a nerve-wracking second round contest that spanned more than three hours. Warut Korkiatthaworn, 15-year-old world No.1422 from Bangkok, stunned No.11 seeds Dina Dell'Orto of Hong Kong in a gruelling three-setter 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(5) lasting 120 minutes. Unseeded Adirek Khundanpinitwong(ITF-1171), 14-year-old from Pathumthani, knocked out eighth-seeded Sorapon Imprapai(ITF-390) in straights set 7-5, 6-4. Twin brothers Sonchat and Sanchai Ratiwatana(world doubles ranked 110th and 116th) made their career semifinal debut on ATP tour after defeating British Jamie Delgado and Dick Norman of Belgium 6-2, 4-6, (10-2) in the doubles quarter-finals of the US$416,000 Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, USA on Thursday.

Second seed Kanyapat Narattana and top seed Peerakit Siributwong had a successful campaign to capture their ITF junior title after winning the final matches in the ITF Junior Mercedes Cup, an ITF junior grade 4, at the Rama Gardens Tennis Courts in Bangkok, Thailand earlier today.
After two hours and 10 minutes of play, Kanyapat, 14-year-old world junior No.182 from Bangkok, upset Malaysian top seed Jawairiah Noordin(ITF-146) in straight sets 7-6(4), 7-6(4) to win her first-career G4 junior title. It was a sweet revenge for Kanyapat as she had lost to Noordin in the semifinal of G4 Brunei this year.
In the boy's side, last year defending champion Peerakit Siributwong, world junior No.155 from Ratchaburi, continued his fine run to register a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Taiwan's second seed Cheng-Peng Hsieh(ITF-208) to win the boy's singles title. Three of the five Thai women who made their way into the final stage of qualifying have qualified for the main draw of the US$10,000 SAT-PTT ITF Women's Circuit 2 after the final qualifying matches were finished at Srichaphan Tennis Academy in Khonkaen earlier today.
Following her solid win against China's top seed Si-Si Qiu(WTA-746) in the first round, wildcard entrant Nicha Lertpitaksinchai(ITF-183) played a solid game to eliminate Korean No.15 seed Joohyoung Kim(WTA-915) in three-set 6-3, 2-6, 6-1, to secure her place into the main draw. Varatchaya Wongteanchai(WTA-854) and Varanya Vijuksanaboon(WTA-762) also joined Nicha into the main draw. Varatchaya upset last week semifinalist and fourth-seeded Vivien Silfani-Tony(WTA-802) of Indonesia 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 while Varanya ousted China's No.13 seed Nan Dong(WTA-890) in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
Organisers of the US$10,000 SAT-PTT ITF Women's Circuit 2 have today announced the main singles draw for the tournament that gets underway on Monday (16th).
